Standards
CDMI
CDMI (http://www.snia.org/cdmi) is an international standard that specifies the interface for accessing cloud storage and for managing the data stored therein. OCCI compliant and promoted by SNIA. Since TIMBUS considers the preservation of third-party, distributed services, this is a relevant standard.
PREMIS Environment Working Group
The PREMIS Editorial Committee is currently re-thinking how to model Environment information in version 3.0 of the data dictionary. TIMBUS provides a useful use case for this.
PREMIS
The PREMIS Data Dictionary http://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/v2/premis-2-1.pdf captures context information for digital assets. TIMBUS can usefully extend this to services and processes.
