Secure Business Austria (Austria)

Secure Business Austria is an industrial research center for IT-Security founded by the Vienna University of Technology, Graz University of Technology and University of Vienna. The Vienna University of Economics and Business joined in 2010. SBA’s main aim is to perform basic research with a clear heading towards a practical usage by industrial partners or general use. SBA has four main areas of research: (1) Governance, Risk and Compliance (2) Data Security and Privacy, including Digital Preservation, (3) Secure Coding and Code Analysis and (4) Hardware and Network Security.
As a scientific partner within TIMBUS, SBA will focus its research on methods and processes for digitally preserving business processes. This also includes the specific security and authorisation issues for each phase (expediency, execution and exhumation).
