This portal provides a gateway to the outputs of the 4-year TIMBUS Project. The Portal assembles the resources and tools generated by the TIMBUS partners, including both TIMBUS Tools and other supporting publications and resources, compiled to engage a wide audience including non-experts. The Portal focuses on practical and straightforward materials in order to bridge the gap between the complex research carried out by the TIMBUS partners and the organisations and industries looking to implement direct, usable approaches to the digital preservation of their business processes.
- Context Population Framework These tools collect relevant information from software and systems to generate a picture of a whole network of processes
- Context Model Tools These tools arrange and analyse the information collected from the Context Population Framework
- Context Model Repository These tools harbour the products of the Context Model
- Domain Tools These tools reflect the domain specific context models created to reflect specific needs
- Risk Tools This tool performs a risk assessment on the collected process data and makes recommendations
- Digital Preservation Expert Suite These tools gather the analysis from the Risk Assessment to provide Digital Preservation as a possible solution
