From 26 to 27 January 2012 the third in a series of symposia on the Preservation of Complex Objects (POCOS) took place in Cardiff, Wales. This event focused on issues of the preservation of gaming environments and virtual worlds. Angela Dappert from the Digital Preservation Coalition presented on the TIMBUS project’s contribution toward defining metadata for preserving whole business processes, including gaming environments and virtual worlds.
